Moist weather were predicted to continue along significant areas of the state's eastern regions this coming days as a low-pressure trough continued to attract humidity against the shoreline.

Tuesday was forecast to be the heaviest precipitation period, with persistent thunderstorm potential predicted across multiple regions of both states.

Health officials cautioned that there was an greater possibility of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the state's northern country region, particularly given the ongoing climate situation.
